Perfect Cover
Published in Hardcover by Hyperion (April, 1994)
Authors: Linda Chase, Joyce St. George, and Joyce St George
Average review score:

Brilliant debut
Special Investigator Tina Paris works in the most dangerous law enforcement unit in New York City, the Special Prosecutors Office. Her unit weeds out those fellow law enforcement officials and politicians, whose loyal ties are to organized crime as opposed to the judicial system. The half Puerto Rican, half Italian police woman was the first female assigned to the squad, making her job even more difficult to accomplish.

Tina is simultaneously working undercover on three cases. The first case involves an alleged nasty bad cop, Eddie Calvert, who runs a street card game. Word is that he killed someone who won to much of his cash and th en stashed the corpse inside a freezer. Her second case involves Assemblyman Neil Dandrell and his father, a state supreme court justice, who supposedly have organized mob ties. Her final case involves a sadistic rapist , who practices Russian roulette on his victims. The boasting faxes he begins to send to the police sound very familiar to Tina. Each case could lead to her being discovered and offed.

Due to its reality check, PERFECT COVER is the debut novel of one of the best police procedural series to come out in a long time. Tina is a great protagonist and the three cases blend together in a very smooth and ex citing manner. However, it is that genuine feel to the book and its surprising but realistic climax that turns this into a great novel. Linda Chase and Joyce St. George made one fatal mistake with this novel. They made t heir opening book so good, readers will demand instant gratification with a second tale that will leave the pair (or any author who hits a home run on their first at bat) having a difficult time reaching the bat set by th is brilliant debut.

St. George Romps Fearlessly Where Others May Fear to Tread
Power Strokes is a cleverly drafted satire of Tabloid celebrities, with an eye to expanding our awareness of the thin line between reality and the absurd. St. George targets the right people, and romps fearlessly where others may fear to tread. Five Stars all the way!

The red beret : the story of the parachute regiment at war 1940-1945
Published in Unknown Binding by Battery Press ()
Author: Hilary Aidan St. George Saunders
Average review score:

British Parachute Training and Action
An excellent book for anyone who has been in the military as a parachute jumper. It was a personal choice for me as I was a Parachute Jumping Instructor at some of the places mentioned in this book. It covers a lot of useful information in regard to the training of British Paratroopers by personell of the Royal Air Force. The people who completed their jumping course during the war years or the years after when the Parachute School was still part of the Royal Air Force will enjoy re-living their experiences of the training and will recognize the names of many of the Instructors involved at the time. They will also live through the moments when they went in to action and immediately find some of the names of the Army personell will bring back some very good and also some very sad memories.

Replevy for a Flute
Published in Paperback by Xlibris Corporation (June, 2002)
Author: T. R. St George
Average review score:

Funniest yet
So the fat kid drops her flute when the guy passes the school bus, with the STOP arm extended and red lights flashing and the governor's sister isn't going to be happy so maybe the governor won't be and Web Allen's gotten over his heat rash from being in the bloody wet but who really owns the pig ...life can get pretty complicated. Nobody gets spared a lot of sympathy, but Eddie Devlin gets a wife, a new ranch house, a new used car, a new suit, and we're following him into the shank of the 50's. A lot of the characters from the first two books are back; did they ever leave? This is like eating apple pie, but there's something in the recipe, maybe a whole lot of cinnamon, that makes it sharp ... start with Old Tim's Estate and read up, it's the only way any of this can make real sense ... definitely worth the trip. I'd like to see more of the cartoons.

The Rule of St. Benedict: A Guide to Christian Living
Published in Paperback by International Specialized Book Services (January, 1994)
Author: George Holzherr
Average review score:

Very pastoral as well as scholarly
This book is wonderful! I have read it and think it is highly pastoral, a synthesis of conferences by Abbot Holzherr to his community, yet a fresh look at the Rule. He combines insight with scholarly outlook and sees the Rule as a sure guide for modern living. Also, it can be used as a scholarly source with notes and bibliography which are pretty inculsive of what's out there right now. Highly recommended!

Sixty Minutes for St George
Published in Audio Cassette by Soundings Ltd (June, 1999)
Authors: Alexander Fullerton and Graham Roberts
Average review score:

A thrilling tale of a daring and costly raid
Mr. Fullerton takes the reader from the pitching decks of the Royal Navy ships during WWI to the bloody raid on Zeebrugge in 1918, on St. George's Day. His research is flawless and his characters are most entertaining, as is the gripping action and plot. Outstanding action scenes and the violent German resistance makes one appreciate what was done by the British during this heroic action. Check it out.
